Mother’s help

Have you thought about living abroad? Need to know how to live and study abroad? Mother’s help is not just a regular home stay program!

This program matches a host family with a student who will assist with household needs in exchange of rent. Family internship program allows students to help families with house chores, meal preparation, and childcare a few hours daily up to 2 hours a week. Unlike most study abroad programs, students get to have an opportunity to live in U.S with an American family. For those who wish to have a unique study abroad experience, any student can take ESL (English as a second Language) at our language school, and continue improving their English with their American family.

Imagine being able to live in Southern California, Orange County/ Los Angeles area, and live rent-free. Our family internship program (Au-Pair) is an exciting way to gain vital life experiences, while living the American life style in one of the most beautiful locations in the U.S.

This program is limited to 18 years of age and older. The Mother’s Help student will stay for at least 6 months and a maximum of 1 year with an American family where they will learn about American lifestyle. The student will go to language school in the morning to improve English comprehension and in the afternoon will help the host family with housework.

Being an au-pair has a unique advantage. You are considered a family member rather than an "outsider." As an au pair, you can intimately share your own culture with your American family and ultimately make a difference in a child's life or with your American Family!*

"The time went by too fast. I remember at first I could not speak English very well, but I never gave up. With the help of the children who were very clear with me, I got better day by day. They were really good teachers. I had a great time with the family and the children. It will always be a great memory for me. I will miss them."
